The history of our hotel:
year 1969:
My father, councilor of commerce Mister Adolf Rieser, has bought the guesthouse Alpina from family Singer and has renamed it as „Christina“. The purchase price was 1,4 Million Schilling. That was really a lot for that time, but today it would be a counter value of ca. Euro 101.741,--.
year 1973:
The „Christina“ has been extended by a pastry shop and because of its adorable location directly to the lake and its homemade cakes and strudels, it swiftly has become a favourite destination.
year 1974:
In the restaurant the „red local“ – a sort of snuggery – has been adjusted. Here, the guests of the “Christina” and the guests from outwards have gotten together for chats and good wines.
year 1979:
The area of the beds has been deepened and rebuilt, so that 25 boarders could spend amazing and relaxing holidays in the „Christina“.
year 1995:
I have been taking over the businett management of my father with 21 years, just after 1 have finished my education in the Villa Blanka - Hotelschool and demonstrated great skills to aministrate the hotel to a fresh and modern era.
year 1999:
The building has been – except the kitchen and the restaurant – broken away and built completely new. Also the kitchen and the restaurant have been upgraded and that´s why the smallest ****hotel of the Achensee has been generated. The hotel in its today´s design has 19 rooms with 38 beds and is categorized of official authority every year with 4 stars.
years 2002 and 2004
My daughters Madleine und Julia were born and spend me lot of joy every day. Sometimes they join the reception-evening and entertain our guests as well.
Since then there are currently improvements to offer our guests a „More“ of well-being: Bathrobes, small fridges, hiking and walking-sticks, filled rucksacks – no wishes should be unfulfilled in Achensees smallest ****Hotel “Christina”.
year 2010
More orientation and appraisal on the holistic watching to health and vitality after TCM und 5 elements.
Marion Hass is a graduated manager for nutrition, wellness and health, consultant for TCM and full fledged cook. She reinforces our team and is creating a simultaneously individual diet and nutrition program for our guests in highest quality and acts as advisor in questions belonging to health and ideal weight.
Complementary we offer a multiplicity of baths, massages and other treatments.
You´ll see, the combination of sustentation, exercises and wellbeing-treatments will help you to master the daily routine after your holidays in our hotel with groove and motivation.
My team and me are feeling responsible for the welfare of each guest and try to achieve all the small and great things, making your holiday to the best days every year.
