Pertisau at the Achensee
Pertisau is the starting point of Europes largest nature protection area – the Karwendel mountains- and offers a phantastic scenery for cross-country skiing. Cross-country ski runs of almost 201km – wether you prefer the classic way or skating – everything is possible. Ski slopes of all levels of difficulty attract the hearts of all skiers. Other fun sports such as biking on the slopes (but without bikes) are also offered. If you prefer your holiday to be a bit calmer, there are many winter walking and hiking tracks for everyone, with rest areas along the way and beautiful mountain pastures where you can absorb and enjoy the magnifficent panorama.
